Our Founder's Message

Exploring Places Since The 80's

With a tertiary education and a professional career driven by the Travel and Tourism industry and spanning almost 40 years, Audrey has worked predominantly in hotels; aviation as cabin crew and as a registered Tourist Guide in South Africa.

Audrey had the opportunity to live abroad as an expat with her family for 9 years where she gained valuable insight into many international cultures before returning to South Africa.

On arrival back in her home country, Audrey rekindled her love for South Africa and its people.

It was during lockdown that Audrey decided that she wanted to help the community by showcasing the activities available in her small town and local surrounds which would lead to increased economic revenue for the local businesses.

Sugar Coast Tourism was thus born, as Ballito to Zinkwazi is in the heart of the sugar lands on the North Coast of Durban.

Audrey is very excited and really looking forward to seeing where this journey is going to take her
